Our Mission

Our sole aim is to convey the teachings of the Qur’an to the people in their own local languages, and to encourage them to follow these teachings.

A duty, in the light of the Qur’an

We consider this work a religious duty. Allah Almighty says in Surah Aal-e-Imran:

And there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. Such are they who are successful.

Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:104 — translation by Marmaduke Pickthall

Ye are the best community that hath been raised up for mankind. Ye enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah.

Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:110 — translation by Marmaduke Pickthall

Understanding what we read

Many of us read the Qur’an and offer Namaz without understanding the words. We want every reader to pray and to read the Qur’an with understanding, so that its teachings become part of our lives and help us become good people and good citizens.

Clarity about Islam

We also want to give everyone — especially non-Muslims — authentic knowledge about Islam, beyond the misunderstandings and misrepresentation that are common today.

How we work towards this

  • Publishing Qur’an translations and Islamic books in local languages.
  • Keeping every book free to read online and free to download.
  • Sending printed copies of the Holy Qur’an to those who request them.
  • Encouraging Namaz and the study of the Qur’an with understanding.
